What is the Text to Chat Feature and How Does it Work?
An option to allow visitors to text with our operators will be displayed.

The visitor will input their phone number and select Start Text Chat --> a text will be sent to the visitor and one of our operators will begin communicating with them via SMS messaging.

Once the chat has ended the chat transcript will be emailed to those listed to receive notifications. The page source will show that the conversation was an SMS chat in the chat summary section.
What are the benefits to offering your visitors Text to Chat?
- Some visitors may have a preference to text the operators while using their cell phone. It may be easier and more convenient than using the chat in their browser.
- If a visitor does not have unlimited data plan through their cell phone provider, they can opt for texting to save on data usage when Wi-Fi is not available.
To get started:
Submit a service ticket through the Client Chat Live Dashboard to have this feature turned on.
